Dog Gone Dogma

In the collection of the artist

I had a chocolate Lab for fourteen and a half years. He was with me through junior high, high school, and college. He lived with me in Delaware and three major cities until his death in 1999. This was a makeshift photo of him with an orange velvet Jesus blowing smoke rings. This was a "straight shot", i.e. no altering the negative or computer processing. The blur of the "neck" occurred when my pal Rocky sneezed during the long time exposure of the camera. My professor said that it looked like bacon because my dog was sitting on some unwashed thrift store fabric. This is one of my most important pieces of artwork. Sniff. I wuv you, Lock-Lock.
